To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee

Harper Lee dissects racism in a small town, in general using the viewpoint of a young girl.

The girl's father is a lawyer that defends a black man unjustly accused of rape of a white girl, and through this event the politics and attitudes of some of America of the time is analysed.
