This is one of a series of books that Arthur Hailey wrote that I suppose you could call dramatic thrillers, or something like that.
Some are more of one end than the other, and Hotel management isn't exactly your life and death situation that happens in Airport, for example. Decent enough book, though, for that. It goes into detail into what happens in the high finance banking world, and the problems and dodgy stuff that they have to face, and also perpetrate, on a daily basis.
