This time, a rather more sure of himself protagonist gets to utilise his now more capable faery powers. Also his growing inability to be unable to stop others hitting him with sharp pointy metal things helps, too.
A job to do as a Warder still means he has kids to look after. Daughters that are not dead, just kidnapped by secret organisations that want to experiment on them, and a son about to be born.
