Here we have the alien as gods story. And two factions of them as an economics student who daydreams of being a fighter pilot has a mysterious encounter - involving an advanced flying craft. Thinking it spook games he gets dragged in further to a conflict between two alien factions that has been going on thousands of years and once again is about to erupt into open warfare.
