A heroes magazine writer develops superpowers - and discovers that the superhero conflicts in Siegel city are all set up and staged and managed pretty much like professional wrestling.
Except there is another level beyond that, with an immortal working and manipulating those with control powers to try and slowly take over.
Our hero, with the ability to use any power of those nearby has to do something about this, given the absence of the city's older greatest hero.
