Opened the second of this series first apparently, but no big deal. Space adventure with a guy and his robots. And strange boojum things and all of course being a long way from home. Shipworlds, meerkat-like aliens. And our protagonist is no emo whiner loser. Pretty much nothing fazes him, which is very entertaining. Although 'wow, cool' I am sure he is thinking a few times. Interesting enough.
