Here you have something of a precursor to Primeval I suppose. I wonder if any people involved with that were fans of this episode. Their dinosaurs of course look close to 100% more convincing than the dodgy ones in this tv episode.
So, in this case, the novelisation is more effective than the tv show as dinosaurs are far more impressive on in prose at this point in time.
You of course have your time travel plot here - apart from UNIT etc. trying to stop people getting stomped and eaten in general.
