Angel Of Death - J. Robert King

Samael, son of, et. al.

Angels, serial killers, biblicalness. None of the three things here hold any fascination whatsoever for me. That is pretty much what you get in this novel, however. Although I am interested in supernatural horror.

Unlike the mundane horror of the previous Angry Robot horror novel, this is both more supernatural and more go out and find someone to slice, as opposed to the seduce and lure technique of the crazy woman in their previous volume.

There's a definitely not crazy ordinary woman in the middle of this.

Perfectly fine writing, perfectly standard quality novel, e.g. around the 3.25 mark. A nifty enough nasty denouement and followup to get me to round it up, though.

3.5 out of 5
