Army Of the Fantastic - John Marco and John Helfers

This has an average under 3, so a bad anthology, with the decent stuff being the three stories at the end. Expect it to be pretty cheesy of course, but at lost of this is not up to snuff. One Hawaiian type fantasy, which was interesting.

An example of bad is Airborne, about everything that could be thrown in, was. A general criticism of writers like this is that war and battle is nothing like as horrible as it would actually be, more like a cartoon for kids. Nye's story, however, is one of those that is so bad it is good, from that point of view, good in a Robert Moore Williams that is hilariously wrong sort of deal. So may be some entertainment in a few of the no-goods, from that point of view. Or in the bad jokes in others.

One thing it was cool to see was a Raven(ish) story from James Barclay.
