Asimov's 314 - Gardner Dozois

A bang-on 3.50 good issue. Silverberg writes of the establishment of the Cordwainer Smith Rediscovery Award. The first belonging to Olaf Stapledon (who was my result when taking one of those silly which SF writer are you livejournal quizzes, as some completely pointless random trivia for you.) So I definitely like Stapledon, a fine pick.

Spinrad on the Right Stuff and Cassutt's Red Moon and Schroeder's Ventus.

McAuley has the clear standout story here.

ASIMOVS314 : The Wild Girls - Ursula K. Le Guin
ASIMOVS314 : Captains of Industry - Matthew Jarpe
ASIMOVS314 : The Passenger - Paul McAuley
ASIMOVS314 : Life in the Sardine Lane - R. Neube
ASIMOVS314 : Getting the News - Jim Grimsley
ASIMOVS314 : A Speaker for the Wooden Sea - Ian Watson
