It looks grim for a secure future or beer drinking and pie eating.
The city is under siege, the army is defeated, the supply of spuds and booze is getting low.
Even worse, a plague is spreading, hitting both the chief sorceress holding the rest of the city's defenses together, as well as more importantly Thraxas' favorite cook and friend. So that is it for the good stew supply.
The usual suspects are plotting, there's a strange item to be found, and if the city needs the gambling skills of one investigator to forestall defeat by the orcs, they are in more than serious trouble.
