So it is up to the intrepid bloke to try and save the League of Cluster worlds from their own apathy and those that wouldn't hesitate to sabotage their friendly neighbourhood stars.
This entails a lot of spaceship travel, along with biffo on blades on various primitive worlds and he tries to track down the chief malefactor. Without much help, either, as a lot of people just don't believe this story.
