Or at least that is what Reliance Elite warrior RJ is until she runs into a newly escaped flunky soldier and they decide that sure, why not, they'll give taking down a Galactic Empire a shot between them.
Of course, they do realise they need a bit of help along with the way, and this is the story of building a rebellion, and the feuds between the motley crew of not particularly lawful band of horny misfits.
Their boss and leader is certainly more than human, not to mention having a brother who is a robot.
The Chains in the title refers to the belt/weapon she likes to wear, and decorate, with her successes.
While there's certainly plenty of wisecracks, definitely not the comedy that the Drewcila books bring you.
