A Treasury Of Modern Fantasy - Terry Carr and Martin H. Greenberg

An anthology chosen to showcase actual genre magazine fantasy stories, as opposed to those from books or places. As well as being A Treasury Of Modern Fantasy, it has been republished as Masters Of Fantasy for some reason, too, although there are a few treasures/treasury type fantasy anthologies, so maybe not a bad idea.

Hence, in the few page intro editorialising is done about the fantasy magazines in question up to this point in time in the eighties.

It is a pretty good selection, at 3.53. As you can see, fantasy here does include the horror variety, given that the anthology leads off with Lovecraft himself.
