Fantasy and Science Fiction 674 - Gordon Van Gelder

Book stuff on the Dragons of Babel and The New Weird. Maio tells us (as would the trailer), that Jumper the movie is a pile of Christensen and plot suckage, and to read the far, far superior book instead, given the two resemble each other not much at all.

The good stuff is at the end, here.

FSF674 : Fullbrim's Finding - Matthew Hughes
FSF674 : Reader's Guide - Lisa Goldstein
FSF674 : The Roberts - Michael Blumlein
FSF674 : Enfant Terrible - Scott Dalrymple
FSF674 : Poison Victory - Albert E. Cowdrey
FSF674 : The Dinosaur Train - James L. Cambias

"On the other hand, I was not a seeker after substance. Reality, as I engaged it regularly, was usually enough for me. If I required a more profound and penetrating perspective on the universe's hows and how-comes, I was adept at the mathematical discipline of consistencies, which revealed the hidden structures behind apparent chaos."

"Getting a seventy-ton sauropod out of a railroad boxcar was a slow and delicate operation."

Enemas, vomit and viruses even more so.
