The 1973 Annual World's Best SF - Donald A. Wollheim

The editorial here is a definite rang, about obscurantists and their dying anthology series, and dodgy academics, and again in this 1973 era a massive amount of not good original anthologies as opposed to stories going to magazines.

No names named though, making it a lot less interesting, apart from saying Carnell's series was good.

Some nifty little interior quick sketches before each story, by Jack Gaughan it says.
