Doorway Into Time - Sam Moskowitz

A quite short anthology, but some of the space is taken up with a rather interesting essay at the start, or some length. This gives a brief history of the science fiction magazine, and with particular reference to John W. Campbell, all the way up to the time of Galaxy and Fantasy and Science Fiction becoming his competition. Referencing for example that some of the first post war SF anthologies were almost all Campbell Astounding tales.

With that, and the 3.42 average, a solid 4 book I think, for interest, two good stories, one not. However, Williamson's piece is of historical interest for the robot sub-genre.

Doorway Into Time : Doorway Into Time - C. L. Moore
Doorway Into Time : A Logic Named Joe - Murray Leinster
Doorway Into Time : With Folded Hands - Jack Williamson
Doorway Into Time : The Command - L. Sprague de Camp
Doorway Into Time : Liar! - Isaac Asimov
Doorway Into Time : Before Eden - Arthur C. Clarke
