Poor old probe more lonely and confused than anal.
The usual suspects, along with Captain James Tiberius Kirk and a new young bloke with different ideas and the 'I won't be here next movie stamp' in neon on his forehead investigate the evolution of what turns out to be something rather more familiar.
Someone I suspect is possibly a fan of Marvel's Moondragon, given the female character in this story.
