Hell Dawn Graphic Audio Production - Tim Tresslar

After the first book they sent me, this is one of an additional three Graphic Audio books they have given me to listen to.

I can't compare this to the novel, as I have not read that. Still, I found myself sucked in a little. Bear has lost his surrogate son computer genius. Captured by some criminals who want a super amazing computer worm he has written, so they can indulge in some computer terrorism. Think Kris Kristofferson in Blade for the Bear guy.

The Stony Man Farm heads end up using both Able Team and Phoenix Force to track the bad guys down, with some help from the captive on the inside.

Again, this is done with the background music, the actors for the dialogue, and a narrator for the rest of the book. In this case, male.

A bit of wisecracking, and plenty of shooting. I think they might tone this down a little in the special effects, so you can actually hear the narration, as it is still supposed to be a book. Otherwise, it might blast you out at times!

It seems you also get trailers for other books at the start and the end, too, which is interesting. Unlike the scumsuckers who make DVDs these days, if you don't want to listen to them, moving on in an audio file is simple. Points for that.

3.5 out of 5
